My name is Robin Fobes (you may recognize me as Ms. Lichti). I married my wonderful husband, Max, in the summer of 2021. We live in Arvada (about a mile from the home I grew up in) and have an adorable rescue pup named Rory. I'm thankful to be in my hometown and I get to see my family on a regular basis, including Tuesday dinners with my grandfather! I wholeheartedly believe that relationships help us find our place here in this world. I am unspeakably grateful for all of the wonderful people in my life - including, of course, my BHS Eagle Family!
I'm passionate about teaching adolescents the life skills they need to grow into healthy, functioning adults. I completed my undergraduate coursework at Colorado State University, studying Family & Consumer Sciences and English Education. I graduated from CSU with a Bachelor of Science in 2017. I'm currently enrolled in an online graduate program at Adam's State University where I'm studying School and Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I will complete this program in the Spring of 2023. I began teaching here at Broomfield High School in 2017. Since beginning my career at BHS, I've taught in the Family & Consumer Sciences department as well as the Language Arts department. I'm currently teaching Teen Choices and Child Development - and completing my counseling internship (at BHS, Emerald Elementary, and Broomfield Heights Middle School). I feel incredibly lucky and proud to be part of the Broomfield community. It truly is a great day to be an eagle! I believe that learning is a lifelong journey and that much of it occurs outside the classroom. I aim to be a better version of myself every day and hope to inspire our youth to make the most of their futures too. I am an active adventure seeker; I love to explore the great outdoors; and I aspire to leave a little bit of positivity everywhere I go. Tomorrow can be anything we make it, so let's make it incredible! |
