Welcome to Teen Choices!
In this class, students will learn the basics for being healthy, happy, and successful in high school (and beyond). Students will learn to set and achieve goals, make healthy choices in various aspects of their lives, and build and maintain meaningful relationships. This class aligns with the BVSD health graduation requirements and includes the following units: (1) Introduction to Course; (2) Understanding Self; (3) Nutrition & Wellness; (4) Academic Success; (5) Communication & Violence Prevention; (6) Mental Health; (7) Drugs, Alcohol, & Addiction; (8) Healthy Relationships; (9) Human Sexuality; (10) Driving & The Law; and (11) Stress & Healthy Coping. The slides below provide a daily snapshot of our Teen Choices classroom.
